Kentucky defeats Missouri, Teonni Key exits game with injury
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky cruised to a 74-52 win over Missouri on Sunday afternoon.
Clara Strack led the Wildcats with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Tonie Morgan added 18 points and 14 assists. Kentucky made 11 3-pointers in the victory, with Strack connecting on three of them.
The Wildcats improved to 15-1 overall and 2-0 in Southeastern Conference play.
The lone setback came in the second half, when Teonni Key exited the game with a right arm injury and did not return. Coach Kenny Brooks said after the game that Key dislocated her shoulder.
