Kentucky Blood Center launches Winter Warrior Club to boost donations

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Kentucky Blood Center is calling on donors to help keep blood supplies strong heading into the colder months.

From September 8 through October 11, KBC is kicking off its “Winter Warrior Club.” Donors who give three times during the season will receive special thank-you gifts, including a “Stay Wild” T-shirt, movie tickets, and an exclusive 24-ounce KBC Tervis Tumbler.

The first donation window runs now through October 11. Appointments can be scheduled online at Kentucky-Blood-Center.org. Officials say every donation helps ensure Kentuckians have the blood they need when it matters most.
