Kentucky baseball postpones Louisville game for a second time due to inclement weather

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ)- Kentucky and Louisville will not meet on the baseball diamond this week after a second postponement of the rivalry matchup due to inclement weather on Wednesday April 3.

No makeup date has been set for the game.

The midweek game was postponed in the interest of the “the health and safety of both players and fans in mind,” according to a UK Athletics press release.

The Wildcats and the Cardinals were slated to play on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. before the game was moved to Wednesday at 7 p.m. because of bad weather conditions.

Tickets bought for the game will still be usable for a makeup game or refunded if that game is never played.

Kentucky’s next game is against Alabama on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at home.
