Kentuckians Join In Day Of Prayer For Syria

People of all faiths prayed together today to end the bloodshed in Syria, including churches in Kentucky.

Pope Francis declared Saturday as a day of prayer and fasting for peace in the world.

He’s urging world leader to choose the path of diplomacy over military action.

Local priest said a vigil led by Pope Francis in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican is one of the largest prayer vigils in the church’s history.
