Keeneland makes more wishes come true
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Thursday is a special day at Keeneland as Make-A-Wish Day returns for its 18th year.
Local Thoroughbred farms and organizations are partnering with Keeneland to give children facing critical illnesses and their families a VIP racing experience. The kids will enjoy meeting jockeys, touring behind the scenes, and even presenting trophies after each race.
Fans are encouraged to cheer on the children and support Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana by donating near the paddock, helping bring even more wishes to life.
Organizers say the day has become a cherished fall tradition at Keeneland, showcasing the generosity of the racing community and the life-changing impact of a wish.
