South Laurel High School has been evacuated after a bomb threat, London police said Thursday morning.
Police say they have no “credible evidence” that would lead them to believe there’s a legitimate threat to the school, however, both the high school and the South Laurel Middle School have been evacuated.
Officers are waiting for a Kentucky State Police bomb detection K-9 to arrive at the scene.
London police, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office and KSP are all on the scene as well.
No other information was immediately available.
