Juvenile critically injured in overnight shooting on Tates Creek Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police are investigating a shooting that left a juvenile critically injured early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 3600 block of Tates Creek Road around 1:55 a.m., after receiving a report of a shooting involving a victim. When officers arrived, they found a juvenile who had been shot. The victim was rushed to a local hospital with what police described as life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not released any information on possible suspects or what led to the shooting.
