Job Fair for coal miners and health care workers
WHITESBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – There is a two-day job fair for coal miners and health care workers in Whitesburg.
P&P Construction is hiring coal miners for a variety of jobs in Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee.
Letcher Manor, which is a nursing and rehabilitation facility, is looking for fill several positions.
The job fair is Tuesday, April 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m and Wednesday, April 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The event both days will be at the Letcher County Recreation Center at 1505 Jenkins Road in Whitesburg.
The construction company is looking to fill the following positions:
-Electrician in Pike County
-Underground MET in Pike County
-Miner Operator in Pike County
-Bolt Machine Operator in Clairfield, TN
-Shuttle Car Operator in Clairfield, TN
-Foreman in Clairfield, TN
-Full-time Security Guard in Jenkins
-Part-time Security Guard in Jenkins
-D11 Bulldozer Operator in Phelps
-Surface Equipment Operator in Phelps/Matewan area
