Jessamine County remembers deadly tornados

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – This week marks severe weather awareness week, and many people are remembering the tornadoes that hit West Liberty seven years ago.

Jessamine County emergency management shared photos taken as they responded to the tornadoes back in 2012.

More than 20 people were killed in the tornado outbreak in the area, and there is still damage that hasn’t been fixed.
