Jessamine County man sentenced to 20 years for hotel shooting
JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Alfredo Delgado, 31, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Friday for shooting a hotel clerk. The state attorney general’s office confirmed the sentencing.
According to court records, Delgado was found guilty of assault last month. The conviction stems from an incident at the Home Place Inn in Nicholasville in 2022, where Delgado shot the clerk after she refused his demand for access to a guest room.
Investigators reported that Delgado shot the victim in the hand, head, and shoulder. The clerk survived but required multiple surgeries and ultimately lost a finger.
