Jessamine County crash leaves one person dead

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A fatal crash is under investigation in Jessamine County.

Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a single vehicle crash Monday morning around noon on East Hickman road (KY 1981).

The investigation shows that a 2003 Ford Expedition went off the road and hit a tree.

43 year-old Scott Kelly was driving with 41 year-old Leslie Jamison as the passenger, both of Nicholasville.

Both were transported to UK Medical Center for treatment where Scott Kelly was pronounced dead.
