Jeep lands in Kentucky River, 3 Injured
JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three people were injured after the Jeep they were in went over an embankment and into the river in Jessamine County.
It happened at around 1 a.m. Tuesday on the Lock Seven Road
Jessamine County fire officials say the Jeep left the road, went over an embankment and landed in the Kentucky River.
Two of the victims pulled the third victim, who was unconscious, out of the water.
The fire department pulled them up with a rope system.
The victim who was unconscious was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital.
The two other victims were taken by ambulance.
