JCSO: One man dead after crash in Jessamine County

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Deputies say they responded to a single-vehicle crash that claimed a man’s life.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday.

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office says a 26-year-old man was operating a 2002 Ford F-150 when he lost control, and left the roadway striking a utility pole.

Deputies say the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

They say the man’s name is not being disclosed pending approval from his relatives.

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office says this is the third fatal crash that the sheriff’s office has worked on in 2019.

Deputies say the accident remains under investigation.
