Jaxson Robinson signs Exhibit 10 contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers
CLEVELAND, Oh. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The second leading scorer from last season’s Kentucky basketball team has found his next home. Jaxson Robinson signed an Exhibit 10 Contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday Evening. Robinson was the Wildcats’ second leading scorer last season averaging 13 PPG, while shooting 43% from the field and 38% from beyond the three point line.
The contract Robinson signed is equivalent to the contract that former Wildcat teammate Andrew Carr signed with the Portland Trail Blazers last week. Robinson will join the Cavaliers Summer League and training camp squad on a non-guaranteed contract. If Robinson performs well he could earn a fully guaranteed two-way deal with the Cavaliers and earn a $70,000 bonus to join the team.
Robinson and the Cavaliers will begin their NBA Summer League journey on Thursday, July 10th at 5:00 P.M. EDT.
