Jaws Of Life Used After Crash Downtown Lexington

The Lexington Fire Department said a car and pickup truck were involved in a crash Friday night downtown.

It happened at West Main and North Broadway within sight of the city’s Christmas tree.

The tree had been lit up earlier in the evening as part of Lexington’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

According to firefighters, no one was hurt in the crash.

But the jaws of life were used to cut the driver out of the truck.
