Jackson County woman dead after car crash

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A woman in Jackson County is dead after a crash.

That wreck happened Friday night on U.S. Highway 421.

According to the coroner, 28-year-old Melinda Parker from McKee was driving a Grand AM.

It reportedly crossed the center lane and hit a truck. Parker died.

A four-year-old was airlifted to UK hospital with minor injuries.

No one else was hurt.
