Jack Harlow donates 1,000 pairs of new shoes to Louisville families
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) — A Tuesday night holiday surprise for hundreds of Louisville kids and their families…they showed up at the Metro United Way to pick up a new pair of shoes — but they didn’t know who would be giving them those shoes.
Jack Harlow donated 1,000 pairs of New Balance shoes to kids in need, according to ABC affiliate WHAS.
“There’s a lot of people in the room right now that are contributing to making this city a better place. So, I’m really happy to be sharing a room with you. I’m really happy to be in your presence and I appreciate everything you do and I’m excited to do more with you,” Harlow told the children.
His nonprofit the Jack Harlow Foundation was launched in May as his way to “reinvest, uplift and support organizations, making Louisville a better place.”
