It’s Central KY Child Safety Week

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Today marks the start of Central Kentucky Safety Week in Lawrenceburg and Nicholasville.

Families are encouraged to take part in free child safety events. Operation Kidsafe says it will capture your child’s fingerprint and photo using a digital video capture device, free of charge. It says no databases are kept, and everything is given to the parents to take home.

The event runs through Saturday, October 10.
