Isaiah House receives recovery grant

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Isaiah House is receiving a $50,000 grant from the Truist Foundation to support education and workforce development programs for Kentuckians in recovery.

The funding will help clients gain job skills, enroll in GED or college classes, and prepare for employment. In 2024, Isaiah House reported that 90 percent of qualified long-term clients secured jobs, while hundreds more received training to rebuild their lives.

Leaders at Isaiah House say the grant underscores that addiction does not define a person and that recovery is possible with the right support, opportunity, and purpose.

The Truist Foundation focuses on programs that create economic mobility and strengthen communities. More information on Isaiah House and its programs can be found at isaiah-house.org.
