Irvine Man Arrested After Leading KSP on 2-County Chase
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a trooper who tried to stop a car in Lexington ended up chasing the driver across two counties before finally making two arrests in Madison County.
According to police, the trooper attempted to stop the vehicle for improper registration in the Hamburg area of Lexington but the driver wouldn’t stop.
Investigators say they were finally able to pull over 36-year-old Henry Coffey at exit 90 on I-75.
He was charged with 7 counts of wanton endangerment, fleeing and evading police, and other charges.
An unidentified woman who was a passenger in the vehicle was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
