Irvine Man Accused Of Passing Counterfeit Money

Richmond Police said Thomas Biesty, 49, of Irvine, tried to buy alcohol at Liquor Mart on the Eastern Bypass with a counterfeit $50 bill.

Investigators said when Biesty was confronted about the bogus bill, he paid with other money and left the store in a hurry.

He was arrested by Irvine Police.
