Investigators: Blackburn Inmate Caught Trying To Escape
The Blackburn Correctional Complex said a prisoner’s taste of freedom was short-lived.
Officials in Lexington said Dustin Franks walked away Monday from the jail.
The prison said his absence was noticed at 5:16 p.m.
He was reportedly taken into custody on the grounds about an hour later.
Franks was serving a 17-year sentence for burglary from Grant County.
He would have been eligible for parole in April of 2016.
