Investigator details Eubank stabbing
EUBANK, Ky. (WTVQ) — On Sunday, three people were arrested in connection to an alleged stabbing in the Lincoln and Pulaski counties area. ABC 36 went to the scene to learn more about what happened.
Deputies in Lincoln County say that a teenage boy and 18-year-old Alyssa Burton lured a man to a home with the intent of assaulting him.
When the man, named Andrew Stringer arrived he was allegedly stabbed in the neck by a 17-year-old.
Stringer fled the home and took himself to an emergency room, where he lied to investigators about how he was injured. Here’s what he said an investigator told ABC 36:
“He verified he was in Pulaski County across the Lincoln County line and was out looking for a vape he had lost and somebody unknown to him came up and stabbed him in the back,” said Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones.
Stringer has been charged in Pulaski County with falsely reporting an incident while the juvenile who reportedly stabbed him was charged in Lincoln County with 1st-degree assault.
Burton is charged with conspiracy to commit assault. She’s also charged with tampering with physical evidence for trying to wipe the blood off the knife and destroy evidence of the scheme.
