Woman killed in pickup truck crash in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A passenger in a pickup died Wednesday morning when the truck crashed into a fence post and tree in Laurel County.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department, at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to a crash on Pine Grove School Road about four miles south of London.

Investigators said a pickup ran off the road and hit a fence post and tree, causing fatal injuries to a female passenger.

The man driving was not injured, according to the department.
