Investigation underway after structure fire on Liberty Road in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Fire crews rushed to the 1700 block of Liberty Road Thursday morning after getting reports of a structure fire.

When they arrived, there was no visible sign of fire from the outside of the building.

After checking inside, they discovered a fire in the kitchen and quickly put it out. Thankfully, no one was injured.

The investigation is ongoing to figure out what caused the fire and where it started.
