Investigation underway after incident at Vice President JD Vance’s Cincinnati home
CINCINNATI, Ohio (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Authorities are investigating an incident at the Cincinnati home of Vice President JD Vance.
According to our Cincinnati ABC affiliate, WCPO, law enforcement agencies — including Cincinnati police and the U.S. Secret Service — were on the scene early this morning. WCPO reports that several windows at the home appeared to have been broken.
Police confirmed that one person was taken into custody. However, officers have not released details about possible charges or whether that individual is directly connected to the investigation.
WCPO also reports that it does not appear Vice President Vance or his family were home at the time of the incident.
Officials have not shared additional information, and the investigation remains ongoing.
