Interstate Back Open After Crash

A stretch of I-75 in Madison County is back open after a serious crash Wednesday night.

It happened around 9 p.m. at mile marker 83 in Richmond.

A tractor trailer and a car collided.

The car was pinned under the tractor trailer.

The driver of the car was airlifted to the hospital. No word yet on the extent of the driver’s injuries.

The crash closed the roadway for several hours.
