Intermittent lane closures set to begin on KY 727 in Whitley Co.

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that a portion of KY 727 in Whitley County will have intermittent lane closures beginning Friday, February 1.

The embankment and culvert extension project is expected to end Friday, February 15.

The lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
