Inmate walks away from Northpoint Training Center
BURGIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A release from the Kentucky Department of Corrections says that an inmate at Northpoint Training Center walked away from the minimum-security facility Friday morning at around 7:00 a.m.
Authorities say Thomas L. Meeks, 39, was serving an 18-year sentence on convictions out of Garrard and Madison County for burglary, and theft. He would have been up for parole in March 2018.
Meeks is described as 5’11” tall, weighing 200 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
