Crash kills Lexington pastor

The Fayette County coroner’s office says a man has died following a two-vehicle crash on Man O’ War Tuesday.
The coroner says 81-year-old Arlester Washington, of Lexington, was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Washington was the pastor of Now Faith Worship Center and the founder of the Anointed Central Kentucky Mass Choir.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three people, including a child, were taken to the hospital Tuesday following a crash that closed down part of Man O’War Boulevard for hours.
The accident happened on the inner loop of Man o’ War Boulevard between Jocasta Drive and Pimlico Parkway just before 8 a.m.
According to police, an SUV turned off Jocasta Drive onto Man O’ War Boulevard and was struck by a minivan.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with what police say are life-threatening injuries.
The driver and a child inside the minivan were also taken to the hospital.
Police say the driver’s injuries were serious but the child’s were minor.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, according to police. The child was properly restrained.
