Injury crash blocks lane on I-75 near Newtown Pike in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A crash involving a semi truck and a car is causing traffic issues on Interstate 75 in Lexington.
According to the city’s Traffic Management account @lexwrecks, the injury collision happened on I-75 northbound near Newtown Pike around the 115 mile marker. At least one lane is currently blocked as crews respond to the scene.
Drivers are being urged to use caution in the area and expect delays while emergency crews work to clear the roadway.
No word yet on the extent of injuries or how long the lane blockage is expected to last.
