Coroner identifies man killed in Scott County industrial accident
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Scott County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in an industrial accident last week as 35-year-old Richard Thurman of Elizabethtown.
Officials said Thurman was a contractor performing machine maintenance at International Crankshaft when the incident happened.
A second person was also injured and taken to the hospital. Their condition has not yet been released.
The Scott County Coroner, Georgetown Police, and OSHA are all investigating the accident.
