Indiana Day Care Shooting Suspect Surrenders In Lexington

A man accused of shooting his ex-wife in front of a day care in Indianapolis, Indiana, turned himself-in to police at police headquarters in Lexington Wednesday night.

Lexington Police said Christopher Justice, 33, who was wanted in Indianapolis, surrendered at headquarters around 8:30 p.m.

Indianapolis Police said Justice shot his ex-wife, Shirley Justice, 31, in a custody dispute.

Broadcast reports out of Indianapolis said Shirley Justice was in critical condition Wednesday evening.

Indianapolis Police said Christopher Justice was expected to be picked up in Lexington on Thursday and returned to Indianapolis.
