Icy Roads Blamed In Fatal Wreck In Woodford County
Icy, snowy road conditions are being blamed for causing a fatal crash in Woodford county Tuesday night.
The Versailles Police Department said they were called to the crash scene on Dry Ridge Road at 9:40 p.m.
They said the driver lost control on a curve, ran off the road and slammed into a tree.
Deborah McIntosh, 51, was pronounced dead on the scene by the coroner.
Police said she was not wearing a seat belt.
They also believe McIntosh was traveling too fast on the snow and ice-covered roads.
There were no passengers in the car.
