LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The UK women’s hoops team fell to UofL Sunday at Memorial Coliseum for the first time in roughly 4 decades.  The Cards last beat UK at Memorial back in 1979.

87-63 was the final in favor of Louisville despite a good effort offensively by the Cats.

Louisville shot 49 percent from the field and grabbed 11 more rebounds than Kentucky pulled down.

The “D” is a major problem that needs addressing and head coach Matthew Mitchell knows it.
