I-64 and I-75 rolling pothole repairs start

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Drivers should plan for overnight delays as pothole repairs get underway tonight on sections of I-64 and I-75 in Central Kentucky.

Starting Thursday evening, crews will work on I-64 westbound near Exit 69 in Scott County, continuing into Woodford County. Rolling roadblocks will be in place, with delays expected through 2 a.m.

On I-75 in Fayette County, crews will begin work southbound from mile marker 117 to 120 before switching to the northbound lanes. Rolling roadblocks and overnight traffic slowdowns are expected.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reminds drivers that all schedules are tentative and may change due to weather or emergencies.

Motorists can report potholes on state routes by calling 1-877-FOR-KYTC or through the KYTC website. Drivers are encouraged to check the GoKY or Waze apps before traveling for the latest traffic updates.
