Hustonville Woman Killed In Collision With Log Truck

State Police said a young woman was killed after her car collided with a log truck Wednesday afternoon in Casey County.

Investigators said around 5:50 p.m., Amanda Griffin, 21, of Hustonville, was driving a 2006 Dodge northbound on KY 906, 8 miles north of Liberty, when her car crossed the centerline and collided with a 1995 Western Star log truck driven by Brian Martin, 35, of Liberty.

State Police said Griffin was not wearing a seat belt.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said Martin was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
