Hundreds come out for Cars and Coffee and Fans

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- It was certainly hot when hundreds of car enthusiasts came together this morning for Lexington’s monthly Cars and Coffee show.

This month the car fans encountered a different kind of fan.

The show was at Big Ass Fans off Citation Boulevard.

In addition to checking out the cars, visitors got a behind the scenes tour of the company’s manufacturing warehouse.

“This is the fourth time that we have done an event here at big ass fans and they’ve just been great hosts. We’re most appreciative,” said Kenneth Hold, organizer of Cars and Coffee.

“I think this will likely become an annual event. We’ve had a bunch of Big Ass Fans employees come out here today so we probably have two dozen folks doing this so that kind of gives you an idea that this resonated with big ass fans employees and clearly with the turn out I think it resonates with the community,” said Lennie Rhoades, CEO of Big Ass Fans.

Next month’s Cars and Coffee event will be November 3rd at Value City Furniture.
