HSIP operations scheduled for Keene-Versailles Road/KY 169 in Jessamine Co.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says that work will begin on Monday, January 28, for Keene-Versailles Road/KY 169 in Jessamine County.
The location will be from KY 1267 extending Northwest to the Jessamine-Woodford County line. The project is part of the Highway Safety Improvement Program.
The Allen Company, Inc. was awarded the project for $407,618.56. The anticipated completion date is September 30, 2019. The purpose is to improve sight distance and safety through curve revisions, new asphalt and signage. There will be no impact to motorists until spring. The traveling public will be informed of changes to traffic patterns through advisories furnished to media outlets.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
