Historic home in Lexington damaged by fire
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Lexington Fire Department said an historic home built in the 1800s was damaged Thursday by a fire.
It says it happened around 12:30 p.m. on North Limestone Street.
Firefighters say the man who lives there returned home and saw smoke coming out of the windows. They say the man was not hurt.
Because of the fire, the street was closed for a few hours. Investigators say the damage makes the home unlivable.
