Under construction home damaged by fire in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An under construction house caught fire Thursday night in the 400 block of East Fifth Street in Lexington, according to firefighters.

The call came in just after 10:00 p.m., according to the fire department.

A dozen fire units were initially sent to the scene and three more were added shortly thereafter, according to firefighters.

Investigators say no one was living in the home due to the construction.

No one was hurt, according to investigators.

The cause is under investigation.
