Speaker 1:                           Hey, guys. We are here at Hourglass Lash & Skin Bar and I’m here with Ms. Elizabeth Hourigan. Welcome back to the show.

Elizabeth H.:                       Thank you very much. Thanks for coming.

Speaker 1:                           Now, okay. We just did cheek injections for me, right?

Elizabeth H.:                       We did, yes.

Speaker 1:                           I just literally had this done and it’s like, it was an awesome experience. First of all, let’s talk about what these cheek injections are and what injectables can be used for.

Elizabeth H.:                       Sure. We have several different injectables here and some are made by the company, Allergan, some by Galderma, so Restylane and Juvederm family of products is what they call those. But, they’re made of hyaluronic acid, which is naturally occurring in your body. They look beautiful and smooth right after you get them done. [crosstalk 00:00:43] There’s no massaging or there’s very minimal complications and allergies just don’t happen.

Speaker 1:                           Yeah. Well, it’s really fantastic. It really is. Now, let me ask you this, is there a certain age? Are some women just too young for it, or are there women that are too old for it? How does that work?

Elizabeth H.:                       Ask Kylie Jenner that question.

Speaker 1:                           Yeah.

Elizabeth H.:                       I’m kidding. But, you know what?

Speaker 1:                           Not really.

Elizabeth H.:                       Anyhow … I mean, we see all ages.

Speaker 1:                           Yeah.

Elizabeth H.:                       I’m in my 40s. My age group’s definitely getting injectables.

Speaker 1:                           Absolutely.

Elizabeth H.:                       It’s preventative, so we have some people that are coming in at … In their 30s getting it done, just a little bit here and there as a preventative measure. We have some women that are coming in and they’re 18 to 20. It’s a hot new thing thanks to Kylie Jenner. They want their lips done.

Speaker 1:                           Yeah, yeah.

Elizabeth H.:                       Then there’s the age group in the 50s and 60s. It’s never too late. I mean, you can come in and have a couple syringes and it makes a big difference.

Speaker 1:                           Right. And it doesn’t look so blown out.

Elizabeth H.:                       No.

Speaker 1:                           Really, it’s a very … You all are very good at consulting with us to tell us exactly what our needs are as we’re talking. It’s just a great thing. I loved it.

Elizabeth H.:                       Thank you. It looks beautiful. You look awesome.

Speaker 1:                           Well, thank you.

Elizabeth H.:                       Very natural.

Speaker 1:                           I feel like it too.

Elizabeth H.:                       That’s the goal, is that you never want to overdo filler. We can always add more-

Speaker 1:                           Right.

Elizabeth H.:                       But you never want to put too much in.

Speaker 1:                           Exactly.

Elizabeth H.:                       Our nurse injector’s extremely conservative and she wants you to still look like yourself when you walk out the door.

Speaker 1:           Hey, guys, we are here at Hourglass Lash and Skin Bar. I’m here with Miss Beth. Beth, let’s talk about your skin club. This is a really cool thing, and I think a lot of people are not fully aware of what all is entailed with a skin club membership.

Beth:                     Sure. Yep, I think it’s the one thing that we don’t talk about a lot. It’s probably the most important thing that we do. Our skin club here, we have two different levels. You can come join at those levels, and you get a very customized treatment once a month. There’s no contracts. We don’t ask that you sign any contracts, so you can join today, stay for three months, six months, nine months, years. We want you to stay because you’re happy and you want to be here, not because you signed a contract.

Speaker 1:           Right, exactly. I’ve never heard of another place that doesn’t make you sign a contract for a skin club type thing, right?

Beth:                     Correct. No contracts here, but we’re the only one.

Speaker 1:           That’s awesome, and what exactly can a woman expect? Or a man, if they join this club, what exactly do they get with this?

Beth:                     Ladies and gentlemen that come to Hourglass, they’ll get a customized, medical grade skin treatment. That’s with all medical grade products. You can get anything form a microderm to a dermaplane to cryotherapy, a micro peel, a mask, a red carpet treatment. It really just depends on what your skin needs that month.

Speaker 1:           Why do you think it’s so important to have this membership?

Beth:                     It’s the largest organ in your body, so you have to take care of it. We have people that come in, and they get injected, but they don’t take care of their skin. It doesn’t make sense to me. If you care enough to do an injectable or to do a laser treatment, but you don’t want to take care of it every month … You’ll see a huge difference. All you have to do is just come in once a month, and it’s so relaxing.

Speaker 1:           You know what? If your skin is proof of this, then for sure, I think it would be well worth the investment to do something like that. Now also, you have an event coming up. Real quick, when is it? And what can people expect?

Beth:                     It’s February the 6th. We’ll have reps here from 12 to six. It’s all about lashes, lips, and lasers.

Speaker 1:           Hey guys welcome back. We are here at Hourglass Lash and Skin Bar. I’m here with Miss Beth, and we are going to talk about laser hair removal. Let’s talk about that, and how is your unit that you use here so much different than what was used in the past?

Beth:                     In the past, intense pulse light is really what most people used, and it feels like a rubber band snapping and hitting you.

Speaker 1:           Yes.

Beth:                     It’s painful.

Speaker 1:           I have to admit, I had this done many years ago. It wasn’t here, but I had this done, and it was so painful. You’re saying that it’s pain-free now, aren’t you?

Beth:                     Yes. This is absolutely pain-free, it is quick, it’s easy. You can’t have hair when we do this, you have to have the hair removed, we’ll shave it for you when you do it, so there’s no burning of the hair, there’s no burning of the skin. It’s a quick and easy process. It takes 4 to 5 treatments, and then the hair is gone.

Speaker 1:           Wow. What areas do you treat with this?

Beth:                     We can treat any area that has hair that you don’t want, so faces, armpits, legs, bikini lines, backs. We have a lot of men that come in for their back.

Speaker 1:           The hair has to have sort of a pigmentation to it, is that correct?

Beth:                     Correct. That’s the only, really, stipulation is that you have to have a color, or a pigment to the hair that you want removed, if it’s white it won’t work.

Speaker 1:           Wow. Now, you guys also have an event coming up that we want to talk about as well. Let’s talk about that.

Beth:                     On February 6th we have an event called Lips, Lashes and Lasers, and we’re going to be talking about all the things that we do here at Hourglass, but specifically lashes, lips, and lasers.
