Horse finds way home: First responders never know

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – First responders never know what the next call will be.

Last week, the Jessamine County Fire Department had to rescue a cow stuck in the mud. This week, it’s Scott County Sheriff’s deputy Steven Quire having a return a stray horse.

The department posted a picture of Quire, who was named a school resource officer in January, leading the horse home.

“Today, this horse lost its owner so Deputy Quire joined in for a morning walk returning it to the farm. Deputies at the Scott County Sheriff’s Office never know what the next call will be,” the department posted on Facebook.
