Hopkins County escapee back in custody

Madisonville, KY (WTVQ) – An escaped inmate from Hopkins County has been apprehended after going on the run.

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Department arrested Wilton Hollifield around noon Monday.

Hollifield escaped custody while out on work release at Madisonville City Hall on Thursday, March 8.

Holliefield reportedly stole a City of Madisonville 2003 F150 and fled southbound on US 41.

Hollifield was serving time for burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card.
