Hope Center Unveils New HopeMobile

The Hope Center held an open house on Thursday to celebrate 20 years of serving the homeless in Lexington.
The center also showed new renovations to its emergency shelter and unveiled the new HopeMobile at the open house.
The new HopeMobile is now operational and replaces the old one, which the center has had since 1995.
Workers use it each week to hand out food and other essential items to those in need at five area churches.
The Hope Center said the HopeMobile was a $100,000 investment.
Renovations to the emergency shelter include changing dorm rooms into a home for the Hope Center Veterans Program.
