Homicide victim identified following convenience store shooting
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The man who died in a shooting at the Dairy Mart on Winburn Drive has been identified.
The Fayette County coroner says 33-year-old Robert Douglas Marshall died from a gunshot wound following a shooting in the 1100 block on Winburn Drive.
Lexington police responded to the store just before 7:30 Tuesday night in response to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Marshall suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to UK Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Officials say a suspect was arrested on scene.
