Man charged in Thursday homicide

UPDATE 8:25 p.m.: Lexington police say 43-year-old Roberto Buffill Paredes was arrested at the scene.

He’s charged with Murder (Domestic Violence), Abuse of a Corpse, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Paredes is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Police in Lexington are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead at a home on Larkin Road late Thursday morning.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were sent around 10:45 a.m. to a home in the 2500 block of Larkin Road.

Police say officers located a female victim at the scene, where she had died.

At this time, investigators say one person is in custody. No additional details have been released.
