Homeowner shoots at burglary suspects

LEXINTON, Ky. (WTVQ)-Police say shots were fired Saturday during a burglary in Lexington.

It happened around 2 PM at a home on Codell Drive and Old Todds Road.

According to officers, two men kicked in the front door.

The homeowner was there and shot at them, but didn’t hit anyone.

The two men ran away.

Police say they think the burglary was drug-related.
