Home Fire Kills Several Pets

There was a home fire last night in Scott County that killed several pets.

The Scott County Fire Department says just before midnight, they received a call for a home in Sadieville on Vine Street.

No one was home at the time and they were able to quickly get the fire under control.

They say most of the damage was in one room at the back of the home.

Unfortunately, one dog and four cats died in the fire and firefighters were able to save one dog.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
