Home destroyed in fire on Hibernia Pass
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A family is now without a home
after a fire broke out in a Lexington neighborhood.
Officials say it started at around 5:00am Thursday morning on Hibernia Pass. When crews arrived, they say they saw flames coming from the back of the home
. According
to fire officials, the flames caused other houses to suffer heat damage. Making matters worse, firefighters say there was a delay in getting water to the scene because one of the tankers was having technical issues.
Luckily, no one was hurt, but, officials say the home was a total loss. The fire department is still investigating what started the flames.
