Home destroyed in fire on Hibernia Pass
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A family is now without a home after a fire broke out in a Lexington neighborhood.
Officials say it started at around 5:00am Thursday morning on Hibernia Pass. When crews arrived, they say they saw flames coming from the back of the home. According
to fire officials, the flames caused other houses to suffer heat damage. Making matters worse, firefighters say there was a delay in getting water to the scene because one of the tankers was having technical issues.
Luckily, no one was hurt, but, officials say the home was a total loss. The fire department is still investigating what started the flames.
